The Day Ellen Made ThriftySunshine's Blog

If you didn't already make a guess, or see Sarah S's comment on the previous post, I was....

BIEBER FEVER for Hilaween!
It was super easy, and many of the items I wore could be found at your local thrift store/Goodwill for cheap!

Now for today's post
Brought to you by: EXHAUSTION!

If ever there is a day that tricks you into believing it's Friday when it's really not, there is the Ellen show.  And Nutella.  Today was one of those days for me.  All I wanted to do was cuddle with my covers and eat, and eat, and eat!  Luckily though, there is Ellen.  She makes everything happy.

AND, much like this retro, throw-back picture, so are some of the clothes you can find at Goodwill.
That's right--it's time for TIP NUMBER FOUR.

TIP NUMERO QUATRO
Give yourself plenty of time.

If you're like me you like to go, go, go.  When I have things to get done, I don't like to waste any time.  But, when you find yourself in a Goodwill, it is always a good idea to set aside enough time to allow for you to look at everything you want.  Sometimes you go into the Goodwill and realize there are a lot of good things that you didn't expect to find.  This can be stressful if you scheduled to get your hair did in 30 minutes.  If you are looking for something specific, the task may be short; but if you're just browsing, you could be there all day (literally, that's a dream of mine).  The ideal situation is to give yourself 2 hours to shop around, and if you get done early you can stop by Cherry Berry and get yourself a treat, because you just saved a lot of mula for a lot of good deals!

Don't forget--there are more than just clothes, shoes, and parachute pants.  I saw this treasure for $85 last week!

Oh, the things you could do to this beaut.

Head to your local Goodwill this weekend to find amazing deals on furniture that will make that entry way a run way of awesome!

Stay true, stay real.
H.
